Review Methodology

Our goal is to make product comparisons understandable, traceable, and useful—not to create rankings based only on popularity or commission.

What we evaluate

  • Ingredient list, serving size, and nutrition facts
  • Protein source or active ingredient form
  • Added sugar, sweeteners, flavors, and common allergens
  • Third-party testing and certifications that can be verified
  • Price per serving and subscription terms
  • Refund policy, shipping availability, and manufacturer transparency
  • Who the product may suit and who should consider another option

Testing versus research

We distinguish hands-on testing from label-based research. We only write “we tested” when a product was actually obtained and evaluated under a documented process. Otherwise, we explain that the assessment is based on public product information, research, and price data.

Evidence and health claims

Health-related statements should be supported by credible sources and presented with appropriate limits. We do not claim that supplements diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Commercial independence

Affiliate availability and commission rates may be considered when deciding whether a product can be monetized, but they do not determine the facts, advantages, disadvantages, or final recommendation.

Corrections and updates

Prices, formulas, and policies change. We aim to date important updates and correct material errors when identified. Readers and brands may report errors through our Contact page.
